Podcast Host & Comedian Joe Rogan adds the original "Welcome To The Crossroads Show" painting to his art collection.
"While I paint, I'm either listening to music or podcasts, and it's almost always the JRE. To think that my newest release is on display in one of the most iconic studios around is absolutely surreal. Welcome To The Crossroads Show couldn't have found a better home. I'm both humbled and thankful for the incredible opportunity."

“James Cameron’s take on Alita, with Robert Rodriguez directing was certainly nothing less than a masterpiece. Being a fan of the original manga work by Yukito Kishiro, I’ve always wondered if Hollywood would ever take on that character. Congratulations to both Mr. Cameron and Mr. Rodriguez for pulling it off.”
“No better piece to kick off my upcoming collection, than with the painting titled after it. Ladies & gentlemen, please welcome to The Crossroads Show, where a song seals the deal! Stay tuned for more to come... But for now, grab a chair and sing along, or simply enjoy the show!”
Staying true to his promise of a music themed collection coming our way, Marcel recently released a new original oil on canvas painting titled “Swift Notes.”
“When I announced my upcoming music themed collection, my social media DM’s began to flood with requests of musicians I should consider painting. I received more than a few requests for a Taylor Swift painting, and after some research I found that like myself, Ms. Swift is a proud cat owner. I didn’t need much convincing after that, I just wanted to paint her and her two adorable cats.”
“I gotta say, I had a lot of fun painting this one, specially the cats. As a cat owner, I know how much of a personality they can have, so I had to do some homework to get theirs down for this painting. Needless to say, I’m very happy with the results. This one goes out to Taylor Swift. I hope you and your fans love this as much as I do!”
“Swift Notes” is a one of a kind Original Oil Painting, and currently does not have a limited edition Giclée on Canvas print run.
“A music themed collection is on its way, and dare I say it will be absolutely, soul grabbing. Pun intended.” Said Artist Marcel Santos during the unveiling of his two new Original paintings.
“I had a lot of fun working on this one. It just flowed so easily. I’ve always wanted to paint a beautiful woman wearing boxing gloves, but there was always an essence missing and I could not figure out what it was. Until I ran into some photos of real life knockout angel, Ms. Adriana Lima. Who was boxing for a Victoria's Secret shoot for their VSX collection. After that, it all came together easily. Ladies & gentlemen I’d like to present to you, KNOCKOUT ANGEL...”

“Funny how people in general seem to want what they can’t have, or what’s unavailable. I painted this one last year after going to dinner with some friends, where I noticed a group of women eye F**** the heck out of one of my friends... Who happened to have his girlfriend with him, they were all over each other and anyone who saw them together could tell they were perfect for each other. When his girlfriend went to the restroom, I went up to him and asked if he noticed how the women there were all interested in him, his response was hilarious… He said, “when I was single I couldn't even catch a cold, let alone women. But now I’m taken and madly in love, and suddenly every woman who sees us together, well, seems like they want to try and ruin what we have.” I’m pretty sure there are multiple morals to this story, but I guess I’ll leave it to you guys to figure them out.”
"It was an absolute pleasure to work on a painting for such a legend of the music industry, not only is Mr. Sergio Mendes an Academy Award Nominee, he is also a Grammy Winner with countless other awards and titles. I've been a fan of his work for a very long time, so I decided to title this piece 'TIMELESS' for many different reasons, one of them being that, it's the title of one of Sergio's… and one of my favorite albums."
Mr. Mendes' album "TIMELESS" features a wide array of Neo-Soul and Alternative Hip Hop guest artists, including The Black Eyed Peas, Erykah Badu, Jill Scott, Chali 2na of Jurassic 5, India Arie, John Legend, Justin Timberlake, Stevie Wonder and many more!
"I get constantly asked if I'll ever paint any of the guest artists featured on 'TIMELESS'... I would love to, they are all incredibly talented musicians, and I'm sure I can come up with some very cool concepts if I ever had to paint any of them."
Two new releases for the much anticipated "LA Nights" Collection! We would like to present to you...
"I'm not one to just randomly sketch or paint celebrities, but when inspiration hits, it hits… I remember being a little under the weather, so I decided to take a day to myself and play hooky. Casually flipping through channels I came across a show on ABC called 'Baby Daddy' - Funny show by the way, I ended up watching 2 or 3 episodes that night… There was a scene where Chelsea's character was sipping' on some Chardonnay and I thought to myself, 'Oh, there's something I could paint!' So just for kicks, I decided to work on a quick sketch study of her."
"Of course, that sketch I made generated a lot of positive feed back. So, why not?! She's cute and she's got style… I'd love to work on a piece for her someday."
